Make space for the work that matters this week.
Start with the finish line
Describe what “done enough” looks like by the end of the week. Keep it concrete: a proposal sent, a customer issue closed, or a team decision recorded.
Sort the open loops
Put each task where it belongs before you commit to it. This protects important work from being mistaken for urgent work.
- Must move this week
- Worth preparing this week
- Can wait without creating a problem
Leave a little air
A credible focus map has room for the unexpected. If every hour is spoken for, the plan is a wish list—not a way to make better trade-offs.
